All those arrested near Parliament have been granted bail !

The Kaduwela Magistrate's Court has ordered the release on bail of 13 persons arrested during a protest near Parliament.

The order was issued after the group was produced in court this afternoon.

The police were arrested by the police today as a protest against the main entrance to the parliament parliament.

There was a great commotion.

The arrested persons were taken to the Maharagama Police Station where they were interrogated and their statements were recorded.

At that time another group was protesting in front of the Maharagama Police displaying placards.

The suspects were later produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court.
