Dr. Harsha de Silva, Member of Parliament has made a special request to the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe.
He has demanded that the post of Central Bank be vacated as he and his group are working hard to find a solution to the crisis.
"Nandalal, please be patient! You know we've working hard to find a solution. Do not give up now!"
At a media briefing on May 11, the Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe stated that he would step down if the political crisis in the country was not resolved within the next two weeks.
He emphasized that if all political parties did not work together to stabilize the country, no one but himself would be able to rebuild the country.
