The Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) says that the IGP and senior officers in charge of the CID have informed that the persons involved in the attacks in front of Temple Trees and Galle Face will be arrested within the next two days.
The President and Deputy President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka stated this when they met the IGP and senior officers of the CID at the Police Headquarters yesterday.
President's Counsel Saliya Peiris, President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, briefed the IGP and the Senior Criminal Investigation Department on the need to build public confidence in the speedy and effective conduct of investigations.
