Samagi Jana Balawega MP Rohini Kaviratne says that today marks the beginning of a series of defeats for Ranil Wickremesinghe in the future.
She said this while thanking her for nominating her for the post of Deputy Speaker of Parliament.
Commenting further on this, she said:
"The defeats of this government will start from today because the Rajapaksas have shown today that they will continue to implement their agenda.
As I have heard, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe all agreed. But today it is shown that what this government is doing is a black bird, not the President or the Prime Minister. "
