Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Northwestern provinces and in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts today (May 26), the Met Department said.
Showers or thundershowers during the evening or night in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Polonnaruwa district.
The Meteorological Department kindly requests the public to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and thunderstorms.
