Another person has been arrested in connection with the attack on Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon at Slave Island Perahera Mawatha in Slave Island, the Colombo Crimes Division said.
The arrested suspect is a 21 year old computer technician
Mr. Tennakoon was attacked while traveling in his vehicle on Perahera Mawatha, Colombo 2 on the 10th.
Earlier, three persons were arrested and produced before the court
Several other people involved in the attack are to be arrested, a senior police official said
Investigations are being carried out on the instructions of OIC of the Colombo Crimes Division, Chief Inspector Ansalam de Silva
