ශ්‍රී ලංකාව චීනයෙන් ලබා ගැනීමට යෝජිත ඇමෙරිකානු ඩොලර් බිලියනයක ණය මුදල මීට පෙර චීන බැංකුවලින් ලබා ගත් ණය පියවීමට යොදා ගැනීමට නියමිත බව වාර්තා වෙයි.

ණය ප්‍රතිව්‍යුහ ගත කිරීමකට චීනයේ අපේක්ෂාවක් නොමැතිවීම හේතුවෙන් මෙම ක්‍රමය අනුගමනය කිරීමට නියමිතය.

දෙරටේ බලධාරීන් මේ වන විට දීර්ඝ කිරීමට නියමිත නව මූල්‍ය පහසුකම පිළිබඳ නියමයන් සහ කොන්දේසි සාකච්ඡා කරමින් සිටී.

මීට අමතරව, චීනයෙන් ද්‍රව්‍ය ආනයනය කිරීම සඳහා තවත් එක්සත් ජනපද ඩොලර් බිලියන 1.5 ක ණය පහසුකමක් ලබාගැනීමටද නියමිතය.

It is reported that the proposed US $ 1 billion loan from Sri Lanka to be obtained from China will be used to repay loans previously obtained from Chinese banks.
