The Minister of Energy says that an average of 2,500 metron metric tons of Austen 92 petrol and 4,000 metric tons of auto diesel are issued daily at petrol stations.
He has stated this while issuing a vigilante message regarding the existing fuel reserves in the country.
According to the Minister, auto diesel will be released with restrictions until the Norochcholai power plant is restored.
He further stated in his Twitter message that another 40,000 metric tons of petrol and crude oil is due to be landed in Sri Lanka next Monday.
