Members of the Inter University Student Federation, which disbanded after tear gas and water cannons, have reunited and built attics near Polduwa Junction.
Its convener Wasantha Mudalige said that his members had arranged to makeshift attics tonight (May 5).
Accordingly, the MPs are scheduled to remain in Parliament until they arrive in Parliament tomorrow (May 6), he added.
It was reported that arrangements have been made to hold a protest song concert at the venue tonight.
Our correspondent noted that more than a thousand people were still protesting at the site.
Meanwhile, protesters have also used iron pipes to demolish roadblocks that had been erected to block the pavement.
They then proceeded on foot to the Polduwa Junction, which leads to the Parliament complex.
Tear gas and water attacks were taken to attack the protesters touches the roadblock.
More than 3,000 members of the Inter-University Student Federation and the Inter-University Bhikku Federation took part in the protest.
