Curfew reduces the duration of operation !

 

The island-wide curfew will be lifted tomorrow (May 14) at 6.00 am, the Presidential Media Unit said.

The curfew will be lifted from 6.00 pm tomorrow and will be lifted again at 5.00 am on Sunday, May 15.

Meanwhile, government and private pharmacies, private nursing homes and treatment centers will be allowed to remain open until 7.00 pm during the curfew.

The decision was taken to make it easier for patients to receive emergency treatment and medication, said KDS, Commissioner General of Essential Services. Mr. Ruwan Chandra said.
