SLPP ready to dedicate its national list to bring UNP to parliament !

A spokesman for the Sri Lanka People's Front (SLPP) has said that if the new Prime Minister's party wants representation in parliament to resolve issues of concern to the country and the people, there is no problem in giving his party several national list seats.

If a mature political figure like the new Prime Minister comes forward and seeks to find a solution to the current crisis in the country, the Sri Lanka People's Front will support it.

The spokesman also said that all should unite to strengthen the country irrespective of political party affiliation.

Solving the country's crises rather than improving the class that the Sri Lanka People's Front wants at the moment

The spokesman further said that priority will be given to the party and if there are any shortcomings in the five hundred then the Sri Lanka People's Front is ready to rectify them and face the forthcoming elections.
