Education in Sri Lanka that does not speak in Parliament, does not speak on the battlefield, does not speak in the Government, does not speak in the Opposition, does not speak in anyone

Sri Lanka was known in the world as the number one country in terms of education. In general, the examination system in Sri Lanka was accepted by the world as a very reliable examination system. Therefore, no foreign university in the world was reluctant to admit students who passed the GCE Advanced Level Examination in Sri Lanka. In fact, we believe that the authorities in Sri Lanka have been able to bring the education system to a certain level of stability, no matter what the problems are. But in recent times, we have seen that education in Sri Lanka is entering a very dark and dangerous era. As a result, all parents and children are losing faith in this system of education. Despite the best efforts of the school system, especially the principals and principals to protect the education system in some way, the necessary background has not been created in Sri Lanka. You are free to decide who is responsible for this situation and who is responsible for it.

In fact, it was with the 2019 Easter attacks that the education system in Sri Lanka began to deteriorate in this manner. At the same time the examination system in Sri Lanka collapsed. Especially on May 13, 2019, many people were spreading false rumors that the school system in Sri Lanka was going to be hit hard. It is very clear to us that it is a political issue, but many people did not know that it was a political issue. Many parents in those days tried to keep their children at home without sending them to school. At the same time, the educational system of the students who sit for the GCE Advanced Level Examination 2020-2021 began to collapse. Kovid comes next, pushing Sri Lanka's education system into another dark corner. The most serious problem of postponing exams will be created in the year 2022. This delay is faced by students who are facing the GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations in the year 2021. The 2021 A / L examination will be held in March 2022. At the time of writing, the 2021 GCE Ordinary Level Examination has not been held. It is scheduled to be held on the 23rd of May. However, a big question has arisen as to whether the GCE Ordinary Level examination will be held on the 23rd of May. The serious problem in our country is the absence of a Minister of Education in Sri Lanka to take action in this regard, as well as the lack of education authorities to advise on the matter and the lack of interest and sentiment on the part of the President of Sri Lanka and the relevant powerful politicians regarding education.

Assuming that the GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be held on May 23, if we write this article, the GCE Ordinary Level Examination on May 23 will normally end in June. With the dawn of June, we still have another crucial moment in Sri Lanka's exam calendar. That is to conduct practical tests for the 2021 A / L examination held in March. These practical tests should be conducted on a number of major subjects, including dance and music. There are still a lot of practical tests to be done on technology related subjects, especially in engineering. Even the basic work required for that has not been done yet. These practical examinations will be held after the completion of the GCE Ordinary Level Examination. The question is whether Sri Lanka currently has the basic environment needed to conduct such practical tests. Before that we will talk about whether the basic facilities required for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination are available in Sri Lanka.

We assume that the question papers required to conduct the GCE Ordinary Level Examination have already been printed. Therefore, the paper question does not affect the GCE Ordinary Level Examination. Students are given papers to write the answers to the question papers in the GCE Ordinary Level Examination. This paper is too large. We hope that the paper question will not apply to the GCE Ordinary Level Examination as the paper has been completed by now. However, curfews continue to be enforced in Sri Lanka, there is a big problem with bus services, the issue of whether diesel is still coming to Sri Lanka, the lack of a Minister for Petroleum and related issues, the continuing power outages, the need to prevent power cuts or so on. The absence of a Minister of Power and Energy in the country to take action in this regard is expected to have a major impact. But since no one has talked about it yet, we have to wait and see. We assume that all these are correct and that the GCE Ordinary Level Examination was held on the right day and the ordinary students faced this examination very successfully and were able to complete the examination successfully. It is assumed that this is the only absolute truth that we as the people of this country hope for. We ask God to make it happen. The reason for that is that every second, every minute, every day is wasted on the lives of children in Sri Lanka. But the lives of children are the future of this country.

It is the day when the number of ignorant people increased that the short-sighted rulers who are not suitable for the country will come to power in this country. That's it so far. No matter how much the people of Sri Lanka are told, we have already sent to Parliament two stupid politicians who do not trust those people and who do not care for a penny. Most of those sent to Parliament are kasippukara. Some are racketeers. Some are chain-breakers. Some are soil cutters. Some are sand diggers. Many people think that most people in Sri Lanka must fail the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in order to create a politics in Sri Lanka where crooked businessmen send those who did not go to school to parliament. That is why the politicians wanted it. But our dream is to take the GCE Ordinary Level Examination. That is because we need a country. Because our children need tomorrow.

If the GCE Ordinary Level Examination is held on the correct day, will it be possible to conduct practical examinations in June? If these tests are not held in June, the A / L results could be released at least in mid or late August. Due to these problems in the country due to traffic problems, it may take some time to complete all the question papers and issue the final result in accordance with the practical test scores. If so, can the GCE Advanced Level examination be held in October as scheduled?

One wonders what the connection is between these practical tests and the exam next October. There is a very clear connection. There is a general procedure in the Department of Examinations to give the opportunity to the students who sit for the examination for the second or third time based on their results in the 2021 examination. Time will be given to submit applications for this purpose. This period becomes about a month. So it is certain that the children who sit for the exam again in this way will never have time to prepare for the exam. But even if the preparation time is forgotten, how long can the application submission period for appearing for the examination be held? After receiving these applications, the Department of Examinations will have to decide how many students will sit for next year's GCE Advanced Level examination, what examination centers will be reserved for them, how many question papers they will need and how much paper will be required for the answer sheets. There are only about two weeks left to decide. But the problem is that the country's authorities are not yet active in making this decision. Also, the road system has been completely destroyed and the diesel problem has made it impossible to travel on the roads. The country has reached a point where buses do not run.

If so, will it be possible to hold the October exam with all these questions? In fact, it seems that holding the 2022 A / L examination in October is a totally impractical task. There is no point in doing such a thing because we are used to doing a lot of these impractical things and we do a lot of stupid things and we never think about the future of our children. But if we do so, a big problem will arise regarding the future of this country and the lives of children. The reason for this is that it is very dangerous for students who have dropped their marks unexpectedly to have to prepare for the next A / L examination in a very short period of about a month. So, if the GCE Ordinary Level examination is not held in this manner, the problem will be doubled and tripled. If the GCE Ordinary Level Examination is held in June, there is a big question as to when the next GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be held. The next question is, if the schools are closed to hold the GCE Advanced Level examination from October to November, can the schools be closed again in December? Can you give me a Christmas break? If this examination is scheduled to be held in July, it will have to be re-declared in July or if it is held in June, it will have to be re-announced in June. If that happens the GCE Ordinary Level examination will be postponed. The gap between the 2021 and 2022 GCE Ordinary Level examinations will not be less than two months. Holding such an examination could be something that would create a big problem for a country. Because the children who drop out of education and drop out of exams become the biggest problem for a country.

While writing this article we came to know from an unofficial source that the GCE Ordinary Level examination has been postponed to June 13. Accordingly, the examination will end in the last week of June. The same story begins again. If the GCE Ordinary Level Examination is held till the end of June, when will the practical examinations be held after the GCE Ordinary Level? How to conduct practical examinations for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination and create an environment for the students who will appear for the examination next year? The examination will be held on the 13th of June and will continue until the 25th of June. Then the answer sheets should be monitored and practical tests should be conducted. After doing all this, it will take at least two months to release the results. This means that the results will be released in late August or early September. From September to October, students have to decide whether they will sit for the GCE Ordinary Level examination next December.

The future of this country is all about issues such as postponing the exam from time to time, not being able to hold the exams, spending a lot of money to hold elections in a country where the exams cannot be held, the lack of a systematic approach to the exams, the stupid decisions of the education authorities and the lack of priority given to the exams by the education authorities. This is going to become decisions that affect the relationship. The next most serious question is whether there is enough paper in our country to print question papers. We believe that the Department of Examinations has saved some paper for the children. But if that belief is violated by the Department of Examinations, it is Anto Jata Bahi Jata.
