An international financial advisory firm and an international legal advisory firm have been selected to restructure Sri Lanka's external debt.
Accordingly, Cabinet approval has been granted to Lazarus of France for International Financial Advisory Services and Clifford Chance LLP for International Legal Consulting Services.
The government has agreed to pay US $ 5.6 million for the project.
The relevant Cabinet Memorandum was presented to the Cabinet by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa recently.
Cabinet approval had been obtained earlier to procure the relevant services.
