Sri Lanka's official reserve assets stood at $ 1,827 million at the end of April 2022, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Of this, the foreign exchange reserves stood at $ 1,618 million. However, the Central Bank further stated that although it includes a US $ 1.5 billion exchange rate facility obtained from the People's Bank of China, there are conditions in its use.
