Nicholas Pooran has been named captain of the West Indies ODI and T20 cricket team.
That was due to the resignation of Kieran Pollard.
Kieran Pollard, 34, has captained the West Indies ODI and T20 cricket teams since 2019.
Nicholas Puran has played 37 ODIs and 57 T20I matches for the West Indies.
Nicholas Puran captained the side under Kieran Pollard, who captained the West Indies in the unbeaten Australian T20 tournament.
Nicholas Pooran, 26, will lead the West Indies to this year's T20 World Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup.
