Thessara Jayasinghe, former chairman of Litro, said the opportunity to get cheaper gas from Thailand was created through a program he launched in November 2021.
In a special statement, he said, "Had it not been for the unfortunate action taken against the program, more companies would have had the opportunity to bid lower."
Following is the full text of his statement.
"I have launched a very transparent and transparent tender process in January this year (2002) informing all embassies of gas purchases for the next 12 months to be able to break the one-party monopoly mafia. I am humbly happy about that.
How much money will the country get from the agreement signed in February 2020 by bidding less than US $ 10 per metric tonne of fuel, gas and shipping at a very low price compared to 2020, when world market fuel, gas and shipping rates are much lower than they are today? You will all know if you have lost.
Following the revelations I made about the gas mafia in November 2021, this tender process and the unfortunate actions of a very powerful, wealthy, organized and criminal group targeting me are still worth bidding for. I believe that there was an opportunity for companies to come forward. ”
