The G-7 team of economic powers has come forward to rebuild Sri Lanka ..!



The G-7 Group, considered an economic has decided to assist Sri Lanka in its debt relief efforts.

The G-7 finance ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union made the announcement after a meeting in Germany yesterday (May 19).

Sri Lanka, which is currently facing a severe economic crisis, has been in a state of default since Wednesday.

Given the situation as well as the pressure on the people in the country due to the shortage of essential commodities, these economic powers have come forward to support Sri Lanka.

The G7 Group is committed to finding a long - term solution to Sri Lanka's debt crisis, according to a joint statement.

"The G-7 Group is ready to take action to provide credit relief to Sri Lanka."
