This is how private and SLTB buses will operate due to the Hartal today !



Gemunu Wijeratne, President of the Ceylon Private Bus Owners' Association says that private buses will not be operated from midnight on May 5.

Mr. Wijeratne said an island-wide strike had been declared in support of the May 6 hartal today.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Transport Board says that buses will run as usual tomorrow.

Its Operations Manager Mahesh Gunathilake confirmed this

The fuel stocks at the SLTB depots will be handed over to the SLTB buses and the buses will run tomorrow.

An island-wide hartal is to be held today, May 6, with the participation of several trade unions in various fields, demanding the removal of the current Rajapaksha regime.
