Mohamed Uwais has assumed duties as the new Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
The new Chairman assumed office on the morning of June 7 at the Petroleum Corporation Head Office.
He previously served as chairman of the Petroleum Storage Terminals Company, which resigned in December last year.
Mohamed Uwais is also the brother of former Finance Minister Ali Sabri.
