Two persons have been hacked to death inside a house in the Andagala area in Eppawala.
The victims were aged 32 and 48.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa stated that the suspects are suspected to be heavily addicted to alcohol.
He also said that it is suspected that the two had been drinking alcohol from the house in question.
A police spokesman said the murder was suspected to be the result of a personal dispute.
Eppawala Police are conducting further investigations.
