The Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha says that steps will be taken to recruit 22,000 graduates to the teaching service.
He said that persons under the age of 35 who are currently recruited to the public service under the 2018,2019,2020 graduate scheme will be selected for the post.
Cabinet approval has been granted to call for applications from graduates who are interested in the teaching profession and fill the vacancies.
