Will Western Province Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon be arrested in connection with the May 9 incidents in Mainagogama and Gotagogama? Isn't it The Attorney General's decision is due to be announced in court on June 15.
The report regarding the incident has been handed over to the Attorney General by the Senior DIG of the CID Kamal Silva who is investigating the matter.
The decision regarding Mr. Tennakoon based on that report is to be informed to the court.
The case was taken up before Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage on June 8.
