"It is not mandatory to wear face masks from " - Director General of Health Services


The Ministry of Health says that wearing face masks will not be mandatory from June 10.


This was stated by the Director General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunardhana in a circular.


However, he said in the circular that people with respiratory ailments and related ailments could wear face masks normally without any problems.


It also states that PCR tests and Rapid Antigen tests are not required to check for Kovid-19 infection.
