Security tightens around PM Ranil's residence

Due to a protest organized by the Samagi Vanitha Balawegaya, the entrance to the official residence of the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and his surroundings have been heavily guarded by the police.

Our correspondent stated that roadblocks have been set up blocking access to the Prime Minister's residence.

The protest began in front of the Prime Minister's House this morning under the theme "Let's save the motherland from Ranil, the savior of the Rajapaksas".
