Actress Sumana Amarasinghe has passed away.
She was admitted to the Jayewardenepura Hospital yesterday (04) due to an emergency condition and passed away while receiving treatment.
She was 73 years old at the time of her death.
She made her acting debut in the film 'Pipena Kumudu' and is a popular actress in the country.
She became popular with films like Sunethra, Sukiri Kella, You and Me.
In addition, she has acted in a number of films such as Night Parrot, Why These Eyes, White Pigeons and Broken Promise.
