A warning from oil bowser owners !

 Provide protection for fuel tanks

Co-Secretary of the Ceylon Petroleum Private Tanker Owners' Association Shantha Silva says that they will withdraw from the fuel distribution services if there is any further violence at the filling stations.

He further stated that a written request has been made to the IGP to provide the necessary security for the tankers transporting fuel.

So far there has been no positive response, he said.

However, he said that the distribution of petrol to petrol stations was carried out at full capacity today (23).
