Central Bank employees take to the streets today to support the Hartal !

In front of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka today (May 6) in support of the island-wide hartal campaign  A protest was held in the morning.

Four trade unions of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and the Bank of Ceylon Employees' Union have participated in this event.

They chanted slogans in front of the Central Bank, holding black flags and placards in protest against the current government.

The police had taken measures to strengthen security surrounding the area due to protest.
