Fifty years of being a republic! A place where the country has fallen!

We are very proud of where Sri Lanka is today. We have all the pleasures, all the crops, all the riches. That is why I am writing this proud article with the intention of boasting about our journey of 50 years. Sri Lanka gained independence in 1948. But the independence gained by Sri Lanka in 1948 is a nominal independence. We got independence in 1972 just like the name does not matter. When the name was free, that is, from 1948 to 1972, we were the people who were in Hena Athal. We didn't really have any problems. Food issues, questions about living, no queues, no dollar sky high. We got a lot of things ourselves. There was an agricultural economy. Most people did not go abroad. Mothers of our country were in Sri Lanka. We planted as many crops as we could. We got some grain from the paddy field. We ate jackfruit in the garden. We lived with all this and in 1972 we wanted to be free. That is to say, we ruled under the Queen's crown from 1948 to 1972. We wanted to get rid of all that and become a free country full of all sorts. We were released in 1972. Just released.

What did we get after these 72 were released? After independence in 1972, we did not really have as many problems as we do today. We had some food that day. The dollar had not skyrocketed. There were no such issues. At that time it was said that Mathini's government was a three party alliance. The Sri Lanka Freedom Party, the Sama Samaja Party as well as the Communist Party joined the government that called for the alliance. They gained great power. With a two thirds majority, the NMs, the Colvins, Peter Kehnemans and Dr. Wickramasinghe were all with the government. That is why we were able to bring in the 72nd Amendment. With that constitution we got complete freedom. Sri Lanka was also known as the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka, which has become a republic, also had to wait in line due to some decisions taken by Mrs. 72. Mathini tried to bring the concept of Indian homeland to Sri Lanka based on her dealings with India and her friendship with the Gandhi family. The Indigenous Concept of India When everything was inside India, when everything was done, when everything was made, India, which was a big country, got out of this concept. Lanka? What happened to Sri Lanka was that there was a problem with rice. The food in the shops was gone. I had to wait in line to eat a loaf of bread. Sometimes I had to wait in line to buy clothes. Most of the time the rice sticks fell off the chili sticks. The milk powder was gone. The problem is the same today. There were queues even then. Instead of the petrol queue, there was the bread queue. At that time there were rice queues. Now there are no rice queues yet. But we are told that the rice queue will come after August-September.

With all of this, we were desperately waiting in line. that is true. However, there was not much political instability in the country. There were no political issues, politicians did not steal. We did not tell the world we were bankrupt. Today we have officially declared the world bankrupt. Mathini was trying to create a state that would not go bankrupt. We have now created a bankrupt state. However, let's assume that we were at the lowest point of '72. That in a world where there is nothing. 72 How should we be by 2022 when we were left with nothing? 50 years. 50 years of development. How are you today? Take to the streets and see 50 years of development. Bread queues then as well as gas queues today. Petrol queues that did not exist then are everywhere today. People have no way to get petrol. No money. Even then there was no rice in the shops. Even today there is no rice in the shops. There was no way to eat a loaf of bread then. Even today there is no way to eat a loaf of bread. There are plenty of questions. There are plenty of crises. Behind these crises people are extremely helpless. When we say who is really responsible for this helplessness, we have to ask what all the rulers who ruled Sri Lanka from 1972 to 2022 did. The 72 dollar problem, which has not been so much of a problem, has become an unbearable problem for us today. When the dollar skyrockets, how do we survive? This is the next question for us. Because with the dollar everything goes up. The prices of everything are going up. The price of petrol today is around Rs. 420. You can buy about 2 liters of petrol for 1000 rupees. We have only a few answers as to whether the country developed from '72 to 2022. From 72 to 2022 we now have an airport in Katunayake. There is another one in Mattala. There are a few highways. Those are 72 things that did not exist. Because the Katunayake Expressway, the Southern Expressway and the newly constructed North Western Expressway did not exist at that time. They are a dream for people. that is true. But now there is no way for people to buy vehicles on the highways. If a vehicle collides or breaks, there is no way to repair it. There is no way to buy parts

Where is the country we have developed for 50 years from '72 to 2022? Where is the money we earned? We are on this journey from '72 to 2022 and today the world is going bankrupt. For 50 years from '72 to 2022, we borrowed from the world. For the last 50 years we have been begging the world. If we had received during this period we would have received only foreign aid. Today, 50 years after we did not use any of that for development, we have officially declared to the world that we are a bankrupt state.

At this time it is found behind the houses. Gas cylinders, dung hammers. Politicians pile things up in their homes while people wait in line. It is said that there were 72 similar issues. Some people had milk powder in their homes and brought it to feed the cattle. When there is no milk powder in the country they have given milk powder to their cattle. That means a cow that was fed milk powder has been brought to this position by voting for these politicians. Because politicians are loyal to cattle anyway. Because the cow appoints these politicians. Also, when the houses of politicians were attacked at that time, after the election of the new government in 1977, there was a similar method of breaking into houses. It is said that after the houses were demolished, some people had sacks of potatoes and onions in their houses. It is said that some houses had plenty of lentils. What has happened is that ordinary people have been robbed of their belongings. That's 1972. For 20 years until 2022, the only thing we've continued to do was steal people's belongings. They piled up what people deserved in their homes. Once they are piled up like that, they do not feel the problems and pain of the people. With the assistance received and loans obtained for this country for the last 50 years, if the projects were implemented properly, if the development was done correctly, if the necessary things were done, our health, education and people's lives would be at a much higher level today. But what about our health today? We have improved our health for 72 to 50 years and there is no way to buy a Panadol pill. There is no card to get an X-ray when you go to the hospital. Everything from paper to paper is lost in the hospital. Every hospital is bankrupt. At the moment some hospitals only have water bottles. Some hospitals do not even have that. So is this the health we have been developing for 50 years? What has happened to the education we have developed today? No paper today to print question papers. There is no system for conducting examinations for children. The school system has completely collapsed. Although some schools falsely tell students that they are national schools, the Ministry of Education officially refers to them as provincial schools. So this is all a lie. This is all a scam. Fifty years later, the country has become a place where examinations are postponed without papers. Fifty years later, the children are in a dilemma as they are unable to refuel to go to the exams. Fifty years later, the country has reached a point where students are unable to provide answers to the questions required to study for the exams. For 50 years those rulers came to bring the country to this situation, took salaries, privileges, vehicles, amassed wealth and made everything as they wanted and gave us what? How many politicians have made their lives prosperous in those 50 years? All politicians like Mahinda Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickremesinghe were politicians during this period. They grew and nurtured during these 50 years. Although Mahinda's family and Rajapaksa family imagined a completely fairytale world, our country became a hell. If the politicians who turned it into hell can vote next year to celebrate the 50th anniversary and write another article like this to celebrate the pride of being a republic in this way, we have to say that more cows raised by feeding on milk powder have been bred. You have the opportunity to hide the milk powder that was brought to the people in those days, to find out exactly who were the politicians who gave milk to a cow, and to determine exactly how many cows are being bred in Sri Lanka now by giving milk powder in that way. We'll give you a gift, to be exact. Look at the exact amount. How many cows in Sri Lanka are made with milk powder?
