Here is the circular regarding the recruitment of public servants !

A circular has been issued to restrict the calling of staff of public institutions to minimize public expenditure due to the scarcity of resources.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government states that only the minimum number of officers who are essential for the continuation of public service until further notice should be called into service from tomorrow (May 26).

The relevant circular also informs all Secretaries to Ministries, Chief Secretaries of Provinces and Heads of Departments that fuel, electricity and water should be used sparingly.

However, it also emphasizes that it should not be an obstacle to the maintenance of essential government services.
