President Gotabhaya Rajapaksha has decided to hold a special cabinet meeting this afternoon.
Cabinet Spokesman Nalaka Godahewa says that the special meeting will begin at 5.30 pm today.
He says the relevant meeting has been convened to discuss the current situation in the country.
