President tells people to stop violence and stay calm

 

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has called on the people to remain calm and refrain from violence and retaliation against citizens, regardless of political affiliation.

He mentioned this in a Twitter message.

The President further stated in his Twitter message that all efforts will be made to restore political stability and resolve the economic crisis constitutionally through a compromise.
