Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says work on the Sapugaskanda oil refinery will resume in six days.
He said in a Twitter message that work would begin today (May 27) with the landing of crude oil in Sri Lanka.
This is the first time it has closed on March 20.
As of yesterday (May 26) the country has 23022 metric tons of diesel, 2588 metric tons of super diesel, 39968 metric tons of 92 octane petrol, 7112 metric tons of 95 octane petrol and 3578 metric tons of aviation fuel.
