Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and a group of Samagi Jana Balawega MPs met the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe this afternoon and held a special discussion.
Dr. Harsha de Silva says that there was a three hour discussion on the crisis facing the country.
He said that the discussion revealed that the economic situation in the country was extremely dangerous.
Dr. Harsha de Silva added that there is no dollar or rupee or any fund and defending Sri Lanka is an unbearable challenge.
MPs Dr. Harsha de Silva, Eran Wickramaratne and Kabir Hashim also participated in the discussion.
