A 3 year old child dies after falling into a pond

A 3-year-old boy has died after falling into a fish pond in front of a house in the Madukelle area in the upper part of the jungle in Panvila.

Police said the child had fallen into the pool while playing in the backyard yesterday (June 28) evening.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Madukele.

The body is being kept at the Madukele Hospital morgue and Panvila Police are conducting further investigations.
