A new rice at a cheaper price for the people of Colombo from next week

The Ministry of Agriculture, Wildlife and Forest Conservation has taken steps to sell 'PMB Rice' rice prepared and distributed by the Paddy Marketing Board to the people of Colombo next week.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the rice is sold in 5 and 10 kg packets.

Arrangements have been made to sell them at several locations in Colombo and it is planned to sell 200,000 packets of rice in Colombo.

This rice will be sold at a lower price than the control price.
