Nuwara Eliya District Secretary Nandana Galabada has initiated a program to provide free manioc stalks to the people of the Nuwara Eliya District as a solution to the food crisis.
Nuwara Eliya District Secretary Nandana Galabada said that a dansal was held to hand out Mayocca sticks to the people during the last Vesak festival.
The District Secretary also said that a program has been launched to exchange plants as a solution to the food problem.
