"Harsha's statement is wrong": - Former President of Maldives

Former Maldivian President Mohamed Nasheed has said that the statement made by Dr. Harsha de Silva, a Member of Parliament for the Samagi Jana Balawega, mentioning his name was incorrect.

He noted on his official Facebook page that a number of countries were willing to help Sri Lanka and hoped that Sri Lanka would receive such assistance soon.

Yesterday, Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Harsha de Silva stated that an exchange of views had taken place between the former Maldivian President and himself.

Mr. de Silva had stated that Mr. Nasheed had told him that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates would not come to Sri Lanka's aid due to the lack of a proper plan.
