The ex-wife of Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp has had to pay compensation in a lawsuit filed against his ex-wife Amber Heard for making an insulting revelation through the media.
Through the relevant media report, she had mentioned that she had been subjected to domestic violence by Johnny Depp.
Johnny Depp had testified in court that his reputation had been tarnished by the statement and that he had not abused her.
Accordingly, the court ordered Amber Heard to pay $ 15 million in damages for the insult to Johnny Depp.
However, Amber Heard (36) won one of the three main charges against Johnny Depp (age 58) and was ordered to pay her $ 2 million.
The Hollywood couple, who divorced in 2017, later blamed each other for their dark marriage.
The case is being heard in a Fairfax court in Virginia, USA for six weeks.
