"Leasing Caesars return to work"

Malsiri de Silva, president of the School Students' Transport Association, alleges that leasing companies have resumed hijacking vehicles by Caesars in the wake of the crisis in the country.

Mr. Malsiri stressed that although some solution had been provided during the Covid epidemic, leasing companies were once again putting pressure on the public as usual.

He added that pressure from leasing companies had added to the demand for a solution to the country's fuel crisis and rising auto parts prices.

He said that many members of his association who were affected by such crises had to resign and their families and the people who avail themselves of this service were severely inconvenienced.

Mr. Malsiri further said that the government should address the crisis of the leasing companies which is worse than the fuel problem and the people of the country will be further inconvenienced if they do not do so.
