Former prison MP Ranjan Ramanayake has started appearing for the first year final examination question papers of the Bachelor of Arts degree, prison spokesman Chandana Ekanayake said.
He stated that Mr. Ranjan Ramanayake appeared for the final year final examination of the Bachelor of Arts in Youth Affairs and Community Development degree program at the Open University of Sri Lanka the day before yesterday.
He will also appear for other subjects on June 11 and 18, he said.
The Prisons Spokesman further stated that the necessary facilities have been provided for this purpose at the Examination Center established at the Welikada Prison Study Center with the approval of the Open University of Sri Lanka.
