The ship carrying the last consignment of diesel lent by India to the Port of Colombo


The last diesel ship to be owned by Sri Lanka under the Indian loan assistance has arrived at the Port of Colombo.


The ship has 40,000 metric tons of diesel and it will take about three days to complete the unloading of diesel, according to a senior official of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.


Meanwhile, it is reported that arrangements are being made to unload 35,000 metric tons of petrol in the next few days.
