US and China join hands to rebuild Sri Lanka

The United States and China, two world political allies, are reportedly preparing to work together to find a solution to Sri Lanka's economic crisis.

This is in line with the discussions between the Ambassadors of Sri Lanka and the two countries today.

US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chang said that during today's meeting with Chinese Ambassador Ki Shenhong, they discussed the political and economic situation in Sri Lanka.

In addition, trade, investment and development activities were also discussed.

She said the focus was on opportunities to support Sri Lanka's efforts to achieve political stability and economic growth.
