A special notice from the Inspector General of Police to the protestors


Inspector General of Police C.D. asked to refrain from illegal acts which are done by damaging public and private properties and acting violently in a way that disturbs the peace under the guise of expressing opinions. Mr. Wickramaratne appeals to the general public.


He mentioned that the enjoyment of fundamental rights should be done responsibly.


At that time, the Inspector General of Police has further requested the general public to refrain from interfering with legally employed government and private employees and enjoy those rights within the legal framework.
