The British Prime Minister takes the first step to go home

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will resign from the Conservative leadership today (July 7), the country's media reports.


The reports indicated that he would still serve as British Prime Minister until the autumn.


A Conservative leadership contest will take place this summer and a new prime minister will be appointed in October, the reports said.


British media reported that Boris Johnson will make a statement today regarding his resignation.


The British Attorney General had also stated that Prime Minister Boris Johnson should resign in view of the rising political instability.


The reports said that 7 secretaries who held ministerial positions in the British Parliament resigned earlier, and two more have been removed by the Prime Minister.
