Here are the places where the pilot project of fuel delivery by QR system is running


Starting tomorrow (21st), fuel will be provided as a pilot project at selected petrol stations in Colombo district according to the National Fuel Permit.

The system is going to be implemented all over the island from the 25th.

Accordingly, below are the petrol stations in Colombo that will be providing fuel according to the National Fuel Permit tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the release of fuel from Cipetco filling stations will be started islandwide from tomorrow with restrictions based on the last digit of the vehicle's registration number.

Accordingly, after many days, Cipetco has decided to resume fuel distribution through filling stations from tomorrow.

Vehicles with the last digit of the registration number 0, 1, 2 can get fuel on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and vehicles with the last digits 3, 4, 5 can get fuel on Thursdays and Sundays.

Also, vehicles with the last digit of the registration number 6, 7, 8 and 9 can get fuel on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Ministry of Energy stated that fuel is provided subject to a maximum of 1500 rupees for motorcycles, 2000 rupees for three-wheelers and 7000 rupees for other vehicles.

The Ministry further stated that it has been decided not to provide fuel to personnel who do not comply with this process and not to release fuel to non-compliant fuel stations.
