25 මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රී 12 සිට සියලුම පෙට්‍රල් වර්ගවල මිල රුපියල් 49කින් ඉහළ දැමීමට ලංකා IOC සමාගම තීරණය කර තිබේ.

එහෙත් ඩීසල් මිල වෙනස් නොවන බව එම සමාගම නිවේදනය කරයි.

රට තුළ පවතින ඩොලර් අර්බුදය හේතුවෙන් මෙම තීරණය ගැනීමට සිදුවූ බවද අදාළ සමාගම පවසයි.

ඒ අනුව IOC ඔක්ටේන් 92 වර්ගයේ පෙට්‍රල් ලීටරයක මිල රුපියල් 303ක් දක්වා ඉහළ යනු ඇත.

IOC ඔක්ටේන් 95 වර්ගයේ පෙට්‍රල් ලීටරයක නව මිල දැක්වෙන්නේ රුපියල් 332ක් ලෙසය.

මේ අතර පසුගිය 10 වනදා ද ලංකා IOC සමාගම සිය ඉන්ධන මිල ඉහළ දැමීමට කටයුතු කළේය.

එහිදී සෑම වර්ගයකම පෙට්‍රල් ලීටරයක් රුපියල් 50 කින් සහ ඩීසල් ලීටරයක් රුපියල් 75කින් මිල ඉහළ දැමීය.

Lanka IOC has decided to increase the price of all types of petrol by Rs. 49 from 12 midnight March 25.

But the company announces that diesel prices will not change.

The company said the decision was taken due to the dollar crisis in the country.

Accordingly, the price of a liter of IOC 92 octane petrol will increase to Rs. 303.

The new price of a liter of IOC 95 octane petrol is Rs. 332.

Meanwhile, Lanka IOC also increased its fuel prices on the 10th.

The price of all types of petrol was increased by Rs. 50 per liter and diesel by Rs. 75 per liter.
