A proposal to call public servants to work only 4 days a week

Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government says that a program is being proposed for public servants to work from home as much as possible.

Speaking to the media, the Minister said that it is proposed to call public servants to work for 4 days.

Commenting further on this, the Minister said.

“We are proposing a program that will help you work from home as much as possible. Similarly, first we have proposed to complete the 4 day duty. Fridays can often be turned into extra-curricular activities. ”
