Addressing a media briefing, the Minister said that another 600 metric tons would be received from the refinery.
Also, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation currently owns 4,000 metric tons of 92 octane petrol and 8,300 metric tons of 95 octane petrol, said Wijesekera.
Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera further stated that Lanka IOC has reserves of about 92 metric tons of 92 octane petrol and 350 metric tons of refineries obtained daily from refineries.
