The company has taken steps to increase the price of a domestic Laugfs gas cylinder.
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder has increased to Rupees. 6,850.
The new price of a 5 kg gas cylinder has been increased to Rupees. 2,740.
Meanwhile, from June 5, Laugfs Gas will begin distributing to other areas, including Colombo and its suburbs.
The ship, carrying 3,500 metric tons of gas, had been unloading gas since the night of June 4.
