All government and government-approved private schools will be closed tomorrow (June 17), the Ministry of Education said.
The ministry said in a statement that schools would resume operations as usual from June 20.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has issued the application form and instruction leaflet for the admission of students to the first grade of government schools in the year 2023.
Instructions to submit the relevant application forms by registered post before 16th July 2022 and the application form and provisions can also be obtained by visiting the official website of the Ministry of Education https://moe.gov.lk/
